Opening of the renovated Museum Garden on April 1

From February 15 (Monday), 2021, the Research and Information Center open only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The garden on the north side of the Japanese Gallery (Honkan) will be partially reopened from March 16, 2021.
February 12, 2021 (Fri)
From February 15 (Monday) to March 31 (Wednesday), 2021, the Research and Information Center will be open only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Telephone, e-mail, and fax services will still be available from Monday to Friday.
January 8, 2021 (Fri)
Due to the rapid increase of coronavirus infections in Tokyo, the Museum will close at 5.00 pm.
December 18, 2020 (Fri)
This website will not be available from 9:00 to 15:00 on December 20, 2020 due to maintenance.

The museum will be closed on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 for annual facility maintenance. The Research and Information Center will be closed for two days on Monday, December 21 and Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

Due to facility maintenance, "List of Academic Databases," "Image Search," "Digital Library" and "ColBase" will not be available from 9:00 on December 20 to 9:00 on December 23, 2020. However, "e-Museum" and "Library Catalogue Search" will be available as usual.

This website, Digital Research Archives and Colbase will not be available from 12:00 to 13:00 on November 9, 2020 due to maintenance.
