There are many special events planned for Asia Fest at the Tokyo National Museum this autumn. At the exhibition "Asian Elegance: Masterpieces of Ceramics," specially selected pieces from Japan, China, and Korea will be shown together for the very first time. And as part of the event "Journey through Asia at the Tokyo National Museum" in the Regular Exhibition, there will be many more must-see artworks and archeological artifacts on display. Other special events will bring excitement to the festival, and the beauty of East Asian art will be presented to the fullest!
Joint Special Exhibition of National Museums, Japan, China and Korea, 2014 East Asian Elegance: Masterpieces of Ceramics
Honkan Room T5 September 20 (Sat) - November 24 (Mon), 2014
This is the first time a joint exhibition will be held by national museums of Japan, China and Korea. The exhibition displays world-renowned ceramic masterpieces from the collections of the Tokyo National Museum, the National Museum of China and the National Museum of Korea.
