Japanese Gallery (Honkan) Room T1 & T2
To celebrate the Museum’s 150th anniversary and the year of the tiger, we’ll be sharing artworks with this ferocious animal.
Tigers can be found in art throughout Asia. Here we’ll explore how people imagined and depicted them, and what kind of symbolic meaning they had.
