An imaginary winter landscape adorns this porcelain dish, with a lone fisherman in the distance. This design was meticulously painted using cobalt pigment and a soft-tipped brush. It reflects the remarkable skills of artisans at the Nabeshima kilns, who crafted porcelain under the leadership of the local samurai government.
