This exhibition is composed entirely of works by the famous ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai. Highlights include the three pivotal prints – A Mild Breeze on a Fine Day, Summer Showers Beneath the Peak, and Great Wave Off the Coast of Kanagawa – from the series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. Important works ranging from Hokusai’s debut in his 20s to the painting Fans, which he created at the age of 90, will also be featured. This exhibition provides an opportunity to witness Hokusai’s art across a wide variety of genres, including prints, paintings, and illustrated books.
