Between the fiscal years of 2010 and 2013, fabric fragments originally from Horyuji Temple underwent restoration at the Tokyo National Museum. At this exhibition, we will display 53 pieces that were restored between the fiscal years of 2012 and 2013.

Current exhibit includes:
Cloth, With painted butterfly design on brown ground; with inscription "Toin", Nara period, 8th century
Cloth, With flowering plants and birds design in block printing on brown ground, Nara period, 8th century
Cloth, Yellow (with inscription), Asuka - Nara period, 7th - 8th century
Pendent Ornament of Canopy, With painted white tiger and snake design on light brown ground, Asuka period, 7th century
Fragment of Embroidery of Long Life in Heaven (Tenjukoku Shucho), Asuka period, 7th century
Horara Gauze, Red, Asuka - Nara period, 7th - 8th century
