    The art of Chinese furniture most flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties.

    Qing dynasty furniture, densely decorated in a uniquely substantial style, had the role to present an extravagant atmosphere in living spaces.

    This exhibit features fine Qing-dynasty furniture from the Shanghai Museum collection.
