To explore the question of how the Japanese envisioned the gods in Noh, this exhibition displays costumes and masks used when depicting them on stage, with a focus on the Okina genre.

Hitatare (Noh costume), Path-shaped pattern, chrysanthemum, paulownia, and cranes with pine branches in bills design on dark blue ground, Muromachi - Azuchi-Momoyama period, 16th century (Important Cultural Property, Lent by Kasuga Jinja, Gifu)
