The Kuroda Memorial Hall is located across the street from the museum grounds to its west. Admission is free. It is relatively uncrowded most of the time. Seating is available in all rooms. Beverages in lidded containers are allowed in areas other than the exhibition rooms, but eating is not permitted. A café is located in the annex.
[Sound information]
The building is relatively quiet, but you might hear sounds and feel vibrations from trains passing near the building. Faint sounds can also be heard from the air-conditioning and other equipment. No regular announcements are made.
[Light information]
To protect the artworks, the exhibition rooms are kept dimly lit. However, brightness varies according to the room, as the lighting is adjusted to suit each exhibit. Natural light reaches some areas of the building. There are digital displays in some places in the building.
