    The special exhibition Haniwa was held at the Tokyo National Museum (TNM) in 1973. This thematic exhibition presents a broad overview of the research, conservation and restoration work carried out at TNM in the 50 years since Haniwa. It does so mainly through haniwa tomb sculptures exhibited at the 1973 exhibition.
