Experience Japanese Culture: Calligraphy Workshop

Typhoon no. 19 will reach Tokyo on October 12 (Saturday) and 13 (Sunday). As a safety measure, the event "Experience Japanese Culture, Calligraphy Workshop" will be cancelled on October 12 (Saturday) and 13 (Sunday). Since the typhoon will have passed Tokyo by October 14 (Monday, a National Holiday), the event will be held that day as planned.

Each character means
“Happiness” and “Joy”

Try your hand at calligraphy, an important part of Japanese culture. Choose a character from the artwork of TNM collection and write it on a poem card with a brush pen.

This experience will help you gain an appreciation for the beauty of the calligraphy displayed in the galleries.

* No advanced booking is required. Please sign up and pay at the venue before 4pm.
