Admission to the Regular Exhibitions is free on October 22, 2019, the day the “Ceremony of the Enthronement of His Majesty the Emperor at the State Hall” will take place.

The Museum will be open until 22:00 on September 20 and 21 in connection with an outdoor film screening. The restaurant "Yuri no Ki," located in the Museum, will close at 19:00.

The museum will be closed on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 for annual facility maintenance. The Research and Information Center will be closed for two days on Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
