    Featuring Rinpa masterpieces, by renowned artists such as Koetsu, Sotatsu, Korin, Kenzan, Hoitsu, and Kiitsu owned by collections in Japan and overseas, exhibited together to introduce the works of great individuality from this celebrated tradition. This exhibition is held in celebration of the 350th anniversary of the birth of Rinpa master, Ogata Korin.

* Special exhibition "Cultural Heritage of Sri Lanka — The Land of Serendipity" (September 17 - November 30, 2008, Hyokeikan) requires a separate admission fee.
* Set admission tickets at the discount price of 2,000 yen are available for the two special exhibitions "Treasures by Rinpa Masters - Inheritance and Innovation" and "Cultural Heritage of Sri Lanka - The Land of Serendipity". On sale until Sunday, November 16, 2008.
