Various ukiyo-e prints and paintings depicting cherry blossoms will be displayed. The focus will be on famous cherry-blossom-viewing sites in Edo (now Tokyo) such as Ueno, Gotenyama, Yoshiwara, Asukayama, and the Sumida River. Works that take Dojoji Temple (also famous for its blossoms) as their theme as well as "bird and flower" and "beautiful women of the day" prints featuring cherry blossoms will also be exhibited.
