Features costumes from the latter half of the Edo period (late 18th-19th centuries) including costumes worn by Bando Mitsue, a female Kabuki actress who acted for the o-oku quarters of the Edo Castle. Costumes for traditionally important roles called akahime (literally "red princess" from the color of the costumes) and for roles of lords are also on view.
