Two Nights of Music at the Tokyo National Museum

Experience Japanese culture with two nights of music at the Tokyo National Museum on the 27th and the 28th of October 2023!

Three stages will be specially set up at the Japanese Gallery, the Asian Gallery, and the Gallery of Horyuji Treasures, featuring live performances by artists playing the shamisen and other instruments. Moreover, you can enjoy the artworks on display in the galleries along with background music during the event.
*The Asian Gallery Stage is restricted to a capacity of 200.

There will also be food trucks and restaurants on site for you to enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine.
The museum grounds will be illuminated with lanterns made of Japanese earthenware, welcoming you to a dreamy outdoor nightscape available for two nights only.
