This building is not usually crowded. Tables and seating are available in all rooms. Eating and drinking are allowed in the entrance hall.

It is generally quiet, but faint sounds can be heard from the air-conditioning and other equipment. Regular announcements are made through a speaker installed in the building.

It is generally bright, with more windows compared to the gallery buildings. Some areas receive natural light. In the reading room, light from outside is adjusted using blinds. There are digital displays in some places in the building.
