Nachisan (Mt. Nachi), one of the Three Sacred Mountains of Kumano, with its Nachi Waterfall (Ichinotaki), has been a major place of worship since the ancient times. Excavated objects that represent Buddhist belief combined with mountain worship will be on view from the museum collection.
