English-Guided Tour of the Conservation Studios

This tour offers a visit to the art conservation studios, which are usually closed to the public.
We will explain about TNM's efforts to conduct research and conservation work to exhibit and preserve cultural properties.

Making Reservation

Please book your spot using the reservation form below (first-come-first-served basis).

  • You can reserve for up to two participants per booking.
  • Our staff will contact you once your reservation is confirmed (no auto-reply feature).

【Important Notes】

  • This tour is not conducted by museum curators.
  • Actual conservation work by conservators will not be taking place during the tour.
  • Flash photography and video recording are not permitted.
  • Please refrain from eating and drinking inside the building.
  • Please note that the tour may be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Note: Each group will start moving towards the conservation studios 10 minutes before each of the scheduled times.
