New Year's Celebration at the Tokyo National Museum
Open from January 2 in 2021!
2021 is the Year of the Ox. To celebrate the New Year, we will hold a thematic exhibition featuring works of art with ox motifs, display selected masterpieces, and more. On January 2nd and 3rd, traditional Japanese events, such as drum performances and lion dances, will also be held. Have a wonderful start to the New Year at the Tokyo National Museum!

All visitors must make an online reservation.
Ticket reservations can be made at the ticket booths on the day of your visit only when the day’s online ticket sales have not reached the predetermined number.
On January 2 and 3, 2021, timed-entry tickets (valid only on the day of entry) can be purchased at the ticket booth. Limited number available.
