Do you know how samurai armor was made and used?
The hands-on exhibit lets you find out by touching modern reproductions of armor components and trying on a helmet.
Replicas of folding screens depicting many armored samurai can also help you imagine how armor was worn.
On certain days, you can even try on body armor.

How did samurai put on armor? Is it heavy? Is it hard to move in?
The best way to answer these questions is to try it on for yourself!
Staff members will help participants try on armor over their clothes.

*Registration is on a walk-in basis.
*Reservations cannot be made in advance.
*Registration will close prior to 16:00 if the daily capacity is reached.
