The Vision and Calligraphy of Aoyama San'u

This exhibition, held at the Shanghai Museum, China, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Aoyama San'u, a prominent calligrapher during the Showa and the Heisei eras. Through the Chinese paintings and calligraphy that he enthusiastically collected throughout his lifetime, together with his selected masterworks, this exhibition provides a retrospective of his life’s work.
